I believe you will find me to be someone who is good with people, an alert, safety-conscience pilot, and a hard and invested worker. These attributes served me well as a check instructor at
Silverhawk Aviation Academy.
As a flight instructor at Silverhawk, I learned to greatly value safety and diligence. These qualities are of high priority there; it is no coincidence that there have been no major accidents in its ten-year history. Prior to teaching, I completed my commercial, instrument, and instructor training at Silverhawk as well. Eventually, I became a check instructor, which included monitoring other instructors, as well as general student progress. While there, I accumulated over 1,300 hours. I am also 135 cardable.
In addition to working as a pilot, I have spent a number of years interacting with diverse people in various situations. Among other things, I have functioned as a teacher, manager, life coach, and server. As a manager I have created and implemented systems to optimize customer relationships, and employee productivity and satisfaction. This has required effective communication, and the ability to relate with people, in both pleasant and difficult situations. At one point in my life, I spent seven months in southern Africa. During this period I had the joy and challenge of befriending and interacting with peoples of other cultures and languages. All these experiences, and others, have taught me the value of adaptability, humility, and respect in dealing with people, in all situations.
